Welcome to HOVX Watches
Est. 1992 – A Veteran’s Legacy
I'm Thomas Hovx. I've been making watches by hand since 1992 — long before it was fashionable, and long after most would have stopped. The military taught me discipline. The craft taught me patience. And 34 years at the bench taught me that some things are worth doing slowly, and worth doing right. This is my final collection. Not because the passion faded — but because every story deserves a proper ending. I'm proud of what these watches are. I hope you'll carry one forward.
Decades ago, I came home from the military with discipline, steady hands, and no clear idea of what came next. I found the answer at a small workbench in my garage, taking apart watches just to understand how something so small could keep the world in order.
That curiosity became a craft. That craft became HOVX Watches — and for 34 years, I've built every timepiece by hand, the same way I built the first one: slowly, carefully, and with nothing to prove except that it was done right.
After 34 years, I've made the decision to retire and close my workshop for good. This final collection is the last work I'll ever put my name on. I built these watches to be worn through life's most meaningful moments — and I hope that's exactly what they do.
Thank you for being part of this story.
